Demonstrations

Richard has a great passion for demonstrating his 6 dogs to the general public at country shows and other venues. He has done over 1600 demonstrations over the last 20 years and is mainly seen in East Anglia but occasionally ventures further afield.

A demonstration by Richard is fast moving - lasting about half an hour and includes introducing the various dogs, showing the sheepdog commands and how the dogs are used in the everyday work of the shepherd. All delivered with a humorous Norfolk slant on things and ending up with working 4 to 6 dogs at once.
